We pull prices in real-time from retailer APIs and verified sources. Prices are typically updated multiple times per day. However, in-store prices may vary from online prices, and prices can change rapidly. We recommend using SavvyScan as a guide, and always verify the final price at checkout.
Absolutely! SavvyScan is designed for in-store use. Just open the app, point your camera at a barcode, and get instant information. Recent scans are cached so you can review them even if you lose signal in the store.
Premium subscriptions are managed entirely through your Apple ID and the App Store. To cancel: Open Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > SavvyScan Premium > Cancel Subscription. You'll retain Premium access through the end of your billing period. You can resubscribe anytime.
SavvyScan requires iOS 15.0 or later and works on iPhone 8 and newer models. The app uses your camera for barcode scanning, so a functioning camera is required.

Service Providers: We work with trusted third-party companies to help operate the App, including cloud hosting providers, analytics services, and product data providers. We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Account data is retained until you delete your account. Free users' scan history includes the 10 most recent scans; Premium users have unlimited scan history retained until account deletion.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through the App (Settings > Account > Delete Account) or by contacting us at support@savvyscan.app.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL), encryption of sensitive data at rest, secure authentication mechanisms, regular security assessments, and limited employee access to personal data.

SavvyScan offers both a free version and a Premium subscription with enhanced features. Subscription details and pricing are described in the App and on our website.
All subscription purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's payment terms. We do not directly process payments or store your payment information.
Premium subscriptions may include a free trial period. You will be charged the subscription fee when the trial ends unless you cancel before the trial period expires. We reserve the right to limit free trial eligibility.
All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by law. For refund requests, contact Apple Support, as all payments are processed through the App Store. We do not control Apple's refund policies.
The App provides product information, pricing, reviews, and other data obtained from third-party sources. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all information is accurate, complete, current, or error-free.
